Yaşar Nuri Öztürk is one of the prominent scholars in Turkey,

who has served as both faculty member and founding dean of İstanbul University Faculty of Theology (İstanbul Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi) at the Istanbul University for over 26 years.

His Quran translation (Kuran-ı Kerim Türkçe Meali) made hundreds of printings since 1993 in Turkey (above at least +200th printing, with all editions compiled)

His translation is online with his permission, and viewed on many websites.
